Our mission is to train and educate the Valencia CF, Seattle coaching staff, ensuring that player education and training align with the established Valencia CF methodologies. We will continue delivering the highest football education for youth players in the Pacific Northwest.

Director of Methodology
JORDI BURDEUS
The department is led by full-time Director of Methodology, Jordi Burdeus, who is based in Valencia, Spain. Jordi is focused exclusively on the education, training and development of our youth players here in Seattle. The Director of Methodology prepares and prescribes educational content and training standards for all VCF, Seattle and Eagleclaw FC coaches, ensuring that all aspects of our player education and development follow and comply with the official Valencia CF Academy framework.
Methodology Coordinator
JP BARAHONA
The Director of Methodology is assisted by our Methodology Coordinator - Juan Pablo (JP) Barahona, who is based in Seattle, Washington. JP provides local coordination and supervision of compliance with Valencia CF methods and standards. He leads our on-the-ground coaching education and ensures daily training is consistent with the core values, structure, and style of play taught at the club in Spain. Transmitting educational content, monitoring the Seattle-based coaching staff’s compliance with established standards and assisting them in understanding and implementing the VCF Methodology.

The Methodology Department is a critical point of differentiation between Valencia CF Academy – Seattle and every other youth football club in the Pacific Northwest. No other youth football club in Seattle has a Methodology Department, let alone one so carefully constructed between a professional club and an extension of its youth academy.
The unique structure of the Methodology Department ensures immediate real-time access to all innovations and advancements of the VCF methodology, with the benefit of local coordination to ensure providing instantly available feedback, assistance, and monitoring coach and player, education and training.
