SOCCER BACKGROUND
Kayla is a former collegiate soccer player. She began playing at a young age in Seattle where she was recognized and recruited to play at Trinity Lutheran College for four years on a soccer scholarship. Kayla began her coaching journey right out of college working alongside her dad, Darren Sawatzky, who is currently the head coach of the Richmond Kickers playing in USL League One. Working with her dad, Kayla experienced the joys of helping develop young soccer players and the importance of providing a high quality education in a high quality environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Club Admin and Director of Competition, Kayla works to ensure every player and coach are ready to compete on the field handling smaller details that lead to a successful time on the pitch. She works closely with the Executive Director and Director of Coaching to help create solutions for any and all concerns Club members may have.
